Come and hear a Dharma talk at 10:15 a.m. this Saturday by our friend Rev. Peter van der Sterre, a long-time Zen practitioner and business owner, and a Dharma heir of Rev. Zoketsu Norman Fischer. There will be seated meditation (J. zazen) as usual at 9:25 a.m., and tea-and-cookies in the living room following the talk. Everyone is welcome.
This week, our regular Saturday Dharma talk at 10:15 a.m. will be given by Rev. Zachary Smith, from the San Francisco Zen Center. Everyone is invited to attend the period of seated meditation (J. zazen) beforehand at 9:25 a.m., and stay after the talk for tea-and-cookies upstairs in the living room. A great way to ease into your Saturday! All are welcome.
This Saturday, the Dharma talk at 10:15 a.m. will be given by Rev. Valorie Beer, a teacher of sewing Buddhist robes in the nyohō-e tradition and a Dharma heir of Rev. Edward Brown. Please feel free to come for seated meditation (J. zazen) at 9:25 a.m., and to stay for tea-and-cookies in the living room afterwards. All are welcome.
Tomorrow, 28 April, we will likely be closed through the morning schedule. All are agreed hereabouts that it is undesirable to announce Dharma practice events and then not have them, but we are so short of hands for the next week that it is likely unavoidable. We truly apologize for this inconvenience. Evening zazen, however, will take place as usual at 6pm, followed by study hour at 7:30.
