Labor Day Holiday: Zendo CLOSED

We’ll be observing the national holiday on Monday, 3 September. Please join us once again for Dharma practice beginning Tuesday, 4 September, at 6:30 a.m. Have a good and safe holiday!

July 4th Holiday: Zendo CLOSED

As is our custom, we’ll be closed all day Wednesday, 4 July, in observance of the national holiday. Please note that our regular schedule of seated meditation and chanting won’t resume until 6 p.m. on Thursday, 5 July. Please have a safe and enjoyable holiday, everyone!

New Daily Schedule

Starting the week of June 18th, we will be observing a slightly reduced schedule, with open sitting Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and only one period of zazen Tuesday and Thursday. Please check the daily schedule page for details.

Interim Period: May 22nd – June 16th

We will be observing an interim period of a reduced schedule while Rev. David is away. This means that weekday morning zazen will be informal, so members of the public may still attend but only by prior arrangement (contact info here.) Our weekday evening and Saturday Sangha schedules will remain the same. Thank you 🙏

Winter Closures – 2017-18

Holiday Closures

December 2017: 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th

January 2018: 1st, 2nd

We’ll take a break from our stalwart zendo practice on the days noted above, so stay home by the fire and do some cozy sitting there, just for fun. Watch for a notice about our traditional New Year’s Eve event, which will start on December 31 at about 7:30 p.m. NOTE: If you attend one of the other groups that meet here independently of the usual zendo schedule, check with them to find out if they will hold their regular get-togethers. Have happy and safe holidays, everyone!
