Gay Buddhist Sangha

The Gay Buddhist Sangha introduces the Buddha’s teachings to the LGBTcommunity. Our Sangha (community) embraces all Buddhist traditions and respects all individuals wherever they are in their lives. Our intention is to foster healthy approaches to self and others within the LGBT community. We seek a path toward liberation through mindfulness and social awareness.

We live in the midst of constant change, desire and dissatisfaction (suffering). Buddhist teachings offer us a realistic and genuine way to work with reality as it is.

We come together to learn from teachers in many traditions and to be teachers for each other as LGBT people with shared experiences.

Meetings and a talk by a Guest Speaker
